This California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) Compliance Notice explains how NeuronArc (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of California residents (“Consumers,” “you,” or “your”).

This Notice is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), collectively referred to as “CCPA.”

This Notice applies solely to individuals who reside in the State of California and interact with NeuronArc’s website, platform, AI tools, reports, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

1. Scope of This Notice

This CCPA Compliance Notice supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies to:

  • California-based individual users
  • California-based business representatives acting in individual capacity
  • Individuals whose personal information is collected through our Platform

This Notice does not apply to information exempted under CCPA, including publicly available information or aggregated, de-identified data.

Under CCPA, “personal information” refers to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular consumer or household.

In the preceding 12 months, NeuronArc may have collected the following categories of personal information:

NeuronArc does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is reasonably necessary to provide services. Users are instructed not to submit sensitive personal information unless explicitly required under a contractual agreement.

3. Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from:

  • Information you provide directly when creating an account
  • AI prompts and user-submitted inputs
  • Payment transactions processed through third-party providers
  • Cookies and automated tracking technologies
  • Customer support communications
  • Business interactions

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.

4. Business Purposes for Collection

Upon receipt of a verifiable consumer request, NeuronArc will provide the requested information in a portable and readily usable format, subject to verification and legal limitations.

6. Right to Delete

California residents have the right to request deletion of personal information collected about them, subject to certain exceptions.

Upon receiving a verifiable deletion request, NeuronArc will delete personal information unless retention is necessary to:

  • Complete a transaction requested by the consumer
  • Detect security incidents
  • Protect against malicious or illegal activity
  • Debug and repair system errors
  • Exercise free speech rights
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Engage in lawful internal uses aligned with consumer expectations

If deletion is not possible due to legal or regulatory obligations, we will inform the requesting consumer.

7. Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

Under CCPA, California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.

NeuronArc does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation.

If any data sharing were to qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under CCPA definitions, California residents would have the right to opt out. In such circumstances, we would provide a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism.

8. Non-Discrimination Clause

NeuronArc will not discriminate against consumers for exercising their CCPA rights.

Specifically, we will not:

  • Deny services
  • Charge different prices or rates
  • Provide a different level or quality of service
  • Suggest that a consumer will receive different treatment

However, differences in service may occur where reasonably related to the value of data provided, in compliance with applicable law.

9. How to Submit a CCPA Request

California residents may submit requests through the following methods:

Requests must include sufficient information to verify identity, such as:

  • Full name
  • Email associated with the account
  • Description of the request

We may request additional verification information before processing requests.

10. Verification Process

To protect consumer privacy and prevent unauthorized disclosures, NeuronArc will:

  • Verify the identity of the requesting consumer
  • Confirm the authority where an authorized agent submits a request
  • Request written authorization from the consumer if an agent acts on their behalf

We may deny requests where identity cannot be reasonably verified.

11. Authorized Agents

Consumers may designate an authorized agent to make requests under CCPA.

Authorized agents must provide

  • Written authorization signed by the consumer
  • Proof of identity verification
  • Valid documentation demonstrating authority

NeuronArc reserves the right to contact the consumer directly for confirmation.

12. Response Timeline

We will acknowledge receipt of a consumer request within 10 business days.

We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 calendar days. If additional time is required, we may extend the response period by an additional 45 days and notify the consumer accordingly.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Fulfill disclosed business purposes
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements

When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

14. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties

In the preceding 12 months, personal information may have been disclosed to:

  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Payment processors
  • Security and fraud prevention providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Professional advisors

These disclosures are made strictly for business purposes and under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

15. Data Security

NeuronArc implements reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information collected, including:

  • Encryption in transit
  • Role-based access controls
  • Secure infrastructure environments
  • Monitoring for unauthorized access
  • Incident response procedures

No system can guarantee absolute security; however, structured safeguards are maintained to mitigate risk.

16. Data of Minors

NeuronArc does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

The platform is not directed to minors. If we become aware that personal information of a minor has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take steps to delete such information.

17. Updates to This CCPA Notice

We may update this CCPA Compliance Notice periodically to reflect:

  • Changes in California privacy laws
  • Regulatory updates
  • Operational modifications

The updated version will include a revised “Last Updated” date and be posted on the Platform.
